I’ve decided to add some of my Facebook posts to this blog. These are shorter than my typical blog posts, and probably won’t have any embedded artwork. But, since I did the work to write the Facebook posts, I might as well make them available in blog format as well, just so that there’s another way to access them.
Here’s the first Facebook post I wanted to add.

A bit of Bible humor for you.
[Psa 135:15-17 KJV] 15 The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; 17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.
Wait for it…
18 They that make them are like unto them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
I know, right?
We don’t do silly things like bowing down to statues anymore. We’re not blind and dumb. We have 401(k)s, modern medicine, and America.
And yet…if I am comparing something’s power to God’s power, the ratio comes out to 0, whether I’m talking about statues, America, or anything else.
Which means that if we trust in ANY of those things more than we trust God…
…wait for it…
…the joke’s on us!

Comments are super easy! Most comments will immediately be posted. You can use a fake email address and name if you want, I don't mind at all. I just want to hear from you 🙂

On the side of the screen (or the bottom, depending on what device you're using), look for the "Meta" heading. Under that heading, there is one link for the entries feed (meaning, all my blog posts), and another link for the comments feed. Tap the one you want, and then use an app like flipboard or podcast addict to subscribe. I don't know about all the choices out there, but I use Podcast Addict to keep a steady stream of audio podcasts and blog posts flowing into my phone.
